Turbo my 91 Stang?
I've been toying around with the idea of turboing my stock 91 stang.
How much boost could it handle? Would exactly would i need? Can i take a turbo from a ex.dodge diesel truck? |

find a t-bird turbo coupe and rob the head,vane,ecu,turbo,etc

you can use a turbo off a turbo diesel f250 or 2 off of any ford 2.3 turbo motors

The most common turbo ive seen on most 2.3 ford was a holset hx35 and is from a cummins diesel motor and which i use and run 26lbs of boost with a 30lb bov spring
and what kinda motor do you plan on doing this to?

Heres whatch need: (If you have a 2.3litre)
Use a thunderbird turbocoupe turbo or a Garretair T3 turbo. The motor mileage has alot to do with how much boost you can handle, but if your milage is low and you take care of it, apply an external waste-gate and run up to 20-25lbs of boost. if your milage is really high, Id only run about 6lbs of boost. Even at that, a high mileage engine isnt guaranteed to last very long.
