Mods Done To Your 2.3T?


was wonder what all you 2.3t guys got done to your cars so far what kinda mod do you have and do you have any plans for future mods?

1988 Ford TC E3 block .020" bore
JE -1.5 Low comp. Forged pistons 4.000"
Eagle H beam connecting rods
Esslinger forged crank
stage 2 racer walsh cam
Esslinger adjustable cam pulley
hydraulic lifters with dual valve springs
Holset HX35 25psi
Tial V44 wastegate
Turbo Smart boost controller
62lb injectors
ported stock head
Kirban FPR
Megasquirt stand alone PMS
255lph fuel pump, Warlboro
stinger header
3" downpipe into 3" y pipe into dumped 3" flowmasters (Soon to be dyno max bulitts)
custom FMIC from Turbo XS with custom fabbed piping all done by me
Forge BOV soon to be a tial 50mm bov
custom intake with stock TB (looking for 94-95 TB for upgrade)
MSD 6AL w/ Fire blaster coil and NGK plugs
advanced 15* on 105 octane fuel

seriously though I think I want to delete the airbox.
Is it worth using a cheap Conical Autozone (ricer) filter in the end of the tube?

I only have 1 or 2 mods done to mine.
Home of Turbo 4 Cylinder Mustang

Soon, i'll be building a fuel tank for my nitrous system and spraying it with a 125-150 shot to help get it up to speed merging onto interstate highways and stuff.

yea get a conical style cold air intake or the 5L one from BBK so you can keep the MAF simple

and it does increase performance


as for Mike....damn what isnt done to his car

I haven't done the DEI (direct exhaust injection) yet, but it looks like it would work awesome.

I'm gona do it the day I buy an asslinger cylinder head for 4 thousand dollars.
