how hard is it to change the heater core?

its a pretty involved job and takes patience

the average DIY'er with some mechanical skills could get it done in a weekend

Its a 5-7 hr job involving the partial removal of the dash,dropping the steering column and other good shit ... try these Mustang or 1979-1993 Heater Core Replacement

Me and my teacher at boces did it last year and it was not fun. we had to move the dash to get to it. i helped him take the dash out then just pulled it out and held it for him b/c there are wires and stuff
