He prolly put it here becuase the turbo ranger uses the 2.3 liter engine just like the 2.3 mustangs do...

ya I put it in here cuz of the 2.3 engine. I'm not sure which turbo oil lines go where for one thing. I'm sure I'll run into a few more probs along the way.

well for one thing what kind of motor was in the ranger before and do you already have a motor with a turbo on it and a computer?

Upper oil line runs to the driver side back by the firewall. There should be a fitting there that also has a sensor (oil Pressure) on it. The bottom one goes into a drilled and tapped hole on a turbo block below the exhaust manifold. If you don't have that hole then it can be fabbed to drain into the oil pan. It takes some mixing and matching of lines and fittings, as well as drilling and tapping a hole in the pan. What else? Post some pics and I'll try to help.

get the haynes manual for the 86 stang and that will help better then we can without pictures or down to the point on your problems.Killer manuals for the price
