starving for gas


Ive got a 2.3l n/a. Its 5 speed and when i shift into a new gear it struggles and then catches on and runs fine. does this every gear like its starving for gas. im out of ideas what it could be.

Sounds like what mine was doing. Is it doing this up to around 2000 RPM? If so, run Lucas fuel injector cleaner through it. If that doesn't help it, I would make damn sure it was your injectors first because I tried a shitload of different things trying to figure out my problem and it ended up being my injectors. Then hit up Ebay and there's a guy on there named "Mr. Injector." I bought 2.3 injectors from him that were for Tempo's, Rangers, and Mustangs and they work GREAT on my car. They were only around 60 bucks shipped.
