throttle body spacer


Anybody ever put a throttle body spacer on a stock 2.3? If so what kind and how'd it turn out?

some guys have proven a gain but you wont be able to really feel it unless your forcing serious air down in it

where can you get em for the 2.3 Mustang, and how much do they run for?

Anybody ever put a throttle body spacer on a stock 2.3? If so what kind and how'd it turn out?

The only advantage to a throttle spacer on a stock engine, might come from a phenolic one, due to its insulation properties. The intake manifold runner length/ volume isn't affected very much from the after market spacers that I have seen. I wouldn't waste your money on a spacer. Instead I would take that money and put it towards a cam or a header and exhaust system, since this engine really favors exhaust flow, I always recommend starting there.
