Anybody ever put a throttle body spacer on a stock 2.3? If so what kind and how'd it turn out?
The only advantage to a throttle spacer on a stock engine, might come from a phenolic one, due to its insulation properties. The intake manifold runner length/ volume isn't affected very much from the after market spacers that I have seen. I wouldn't waste your money on a spacer. Instead I would take that money and put it towards a cam or a header and exhaust system, since this engine really favors exhaust flow, I always recommend starting there.
