RPM gauge

if im WOT on my 2.3T stang it will try to shift at a really high RPM ill be hitting 5500 and it still doesnt wanna shift so i let off the gas and make it shift and then go back on the trottle and i dont wanna rev it to 6 grand is it just the gauge is off from the swap or what im just scared of messing my motor up xd

yes i didnt change out the tranny i stayed with the stock one

sounds like its going bad.

are you running a stock tach?

the tranmission fine i found the slipping problem the tranny is rebuilt so i know it cant be that and i know i dont have enough power to screw it up yet... but yes i have the stock tach still in it

tach might be going bad after all these years spend a few bucks and hook up an aftermarket one
