Knock Sensor Help

I have a stock 92' 2.3 lx auto.
i don't know exactly which plug to unplug. i unplugged a plug but am not sure if it was the right one, the check engine light came on, and i got worried so i put it back on. Also how do i set the timing correctly for this? if someone can make a video or take whole bunch of step by step pictures, it will be appreciated. thank you

If your car has 8 spark plugs and no distributor you can not adjust the timing. Its all done electronically. As for the knock sensor its usually attached to the intake plenum. Shouldn't make the check engine light come on. I'll try to dig a picture up.

If you can't adjust it nothing you can do. Now if the controller for the timing in the car goes bad then it could have some adverse effects. Having trouble finding pictures of my old motor, but the knock sensor is usually located on the intake plenum The N/A sensor is towards the firewall of the upper I think.
