Do I need to re-wire my mustang?

I have replaced my worn out A4LD transmission with a good used one. Unfortunately, the car will not start now. I found out that orig. transmission was a 3-wire valve body plug and the new one is a 2-wire; that combination does not work with current computer. Do I need to re-wire and add new computer, or is there a 3-wire to 2-wire conversion? Also, is there an engine wiring diagram available?

I replaced the tranny with another a4ld, that was a 2-wire instead of a 3-way like the original. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

is ther any way to swap the valve body for one with 3 plugs? that would seem to be the easiest fix to me besides getting a new trans for the right year.
