Guys what are some of the fastest GT500 you guys have seen or know of? Seen an 08 do 10:51 last night.

Stockblowers-I have went 10.31 and there are a few others in the mid tens.I think 5 of us total.They are all streetable.This is non nitrous.There are many others with KB or after market chargers and a shot runninm 10's

They range from the 7-9's on built or turbo cars.Steve Matusak(sp) has a 6 second one lol.

There is a local kid around here (yeah, KID, he is like 19 or 20) who has a built GT500, easily a 9 second car. spoiled rotten

No I actually think its his grandparents who are rich. The car stays in the shop getting worked on. Its got a custom paint job, 3 spd. auto, making over 900 hp.

Does he make 9 second passes? .. or is the car just capable of it? I don't care what anyone says. If my grandpa gave me a 900rwhp GT500, I don't think I could tell him no !!

I think he has had the car in the high 9s, low 10s..........he can't drive worth a shit (hence the automatic).........I remember when he had the car with the stock bottom end, heads, cams, pullied, ported blower, etc, etc, he about got beat by a pullied and tuned 03 cobra.

just because theres an auto in there doesnt mean he cant drive...

99% of the true dragsters out there.. more like 100% in the pros use autos.

there are some good reasons to as well....

how is evolution performance liars? they have timeslips....and vid.

I'm not calling them out on their their time slips. A while back they got caught lying about dyno numbers on their GT500 power packages. It was pretty epic. I've still got the altered and original dyno graphs saved.

not to make you look stupid but was one corrected and the other not? SAE etc..maybe they entered the parameters wrong.. many shops have their high dynos and theres plenty of tricks to get numbers high but theres 1 thing u cant fake and thats timeslips..

i dont liek dynos.. timeslips are better to me and yes i know u feel differently about them(i have seen ur post about it)

No. The altered graph was photoshopped clearly and posted on the website to sell packages. The correct graph was posted once they got called out on it. I don't think many threads are still public to view. The threads took a turn for the worst as you'd expect when someone's reputation got called into question.
