Procharger Vs. Paxton Novi 2200 vs. Votech
So i have decided to save all my extra cash this summer and buy a supercharger. and im going with a centrifugal system. Anyway i was wondering out of these three which ones are the most reliable, what hp they have made at what psi, and which one is the safest setup. please inform me on anything i should know about these systems. thanks.

Procharger. Stand alone belt drive FTW... As far as reliablity; the Novi and the Procharger are both very reliable. I think the vortech unit is basically a paxton design anyway (Or maybe the other way around). But never really heard anything bad about any of them. There was a issue a long while back with the Prochargers leaking a bit of oil, but that has been long resolved.
Although all three are awesome kits, the only reason I wouldn't reccomend the Vortec is because of the water/air charge cooler. To much shit to break when compared to the more simple air/air charge cooler design.

Coming up on my third season with my charger and wouldn't swap my Procharger for anything. I just flat out like it.
One thing you don't want to do is judge based on numbers posted. Some people are so off the charts in their reports (including the manufacturers) that it just causes confusion. Each one of them has the bandwidth to go beyond the limits of a stock motor by pulley swaps. If you can, ride in one of each.. That's the best way to decide..

paxton novi 2200SL can support 900rwhp, and the package from brenspeed can't be beat.

I love my vortech T-trim, it's done great things so far for the car and definitely has made it a whole new beast. With the new V3 self-oiling kits they offer, the install should be fairly straightforward, perhaps not as easy as a procharger. I haven't heard much about the paxton kits though, I would still rate procharger as the top of the line, but for a man on a budget I do not regret my vortech one bit.

Hey AMmuslGT JEGS High Performance - Your source for Edelbrock MSD Holley Mr. Gasket Moroso has the NOVI 2200 High Output satin complete kit for $4099.00 and guess what I just ordered the last one lol. It has everything you need in the kit, fuel pump, injectors, Diablo Predator tuner, the whole nine yards. I thought it was going to be just a tuner but its not. I called them up and even the guy on the phone couldn't believe it was that cheap. Call them up and check cause it is on sale. You can still get one even though I got the last one on their inventory. I'm getting mine delivered on wednesday, can't wait.

nice. thanks for the heads up. too bad i can't get one for a couple months. im liking the brenspeed paxton package. polished complete kit for like 5200 is cheaper than the procharger and makes about 460 hp. now that plus cams and LT headers make one sick ass ride.

If you can't get ahold of it, the vortech is about the same price with about the same power output. I've never heard the paxtons, but my vortech is fairly quiet, with catless midpipes you can't even hear the whine until it's too late.

Personally budget was a big factor for me so I am having a Brenspeed Vortech v3 kit being installed in about two and half weeks.

Good deal, hope you enjoy yours as much as me. Isn't a whole lot of change at normal driving, but get up over 3200 and you'll keep your butt in the seat.

i have the V3, i didnt get the HO kit so i dont have the aftercooler, i did the install myself it took about 9 hours. the claim is 415 to the wheels, i havent had it dynoed so i dont know for sure. you cant hear whine much at all, i only notice it when i let off the throttle for red lights and stuff. its way quieter than i expected, however i do have an O/R x-pipe so my exhaust is pretty loud. the internal oil is what i loke the best i think, way simple.

I swear by Procharger. I had it on my '05 since June '05 and it's on my son's '05 now and still not a problem at all with the system. Very reliable and drives like it was tuned at the factory. Of course, it was dyno tuned a few times with different mods, but my vote is for Procharger.
