SCT X3 question (Need a quick answer by tomorrow AM)

I have an SCT X3 from Brenspeed with 3 custom tunes. I want to put my car back to srock, but I have installed 4.10 gears, so I need to put it back to stock but change the gear ratio.

I loaded the stock tune back on the car and then tried a "canned" X3 Mustang GT tune where I changed the gear ratio toi 4.10, but doesn't that mean my X3 is locked out? I want to be able to sell my X3 so it needs to be "unlocked".

Is there any way to get my car back to a stock tune, with my X3 "unlocked", but also change the car's gear ration from the stock 3.55 to 4.10?

no. The only way to have your SCT unlocked is to return your car to stock, and with that you cannot make adjustments for gears. Sorry.

No, but if your speedometer is off that bad, they make recalibration units, pretty much like your programmer for 100 bucks, or you can get new gears for you speedometer that have more teeth to fix this problem.

If that's the case I'm just going to trade it in to the dealer with the speedo off and keep the X3 unlocked so I can sell it to someone.

How much does it cost to get a X3 unlocked, if it is possible?

Sounds like the dealer will be getting a car with a mis-calibrated speedometer.

I'm sure it's something that the dealer can fix with their computer via the OBDII port.

Trade it in, but tell the dealer that the speedo is off and you have gears in it.

Don't be a dishonorable scum-bag and screw the next owner with an inaccurate speedo they don't know about. Grow up.
