What DiMora said.

The E-Force is very quiet. Mine is barely audible in certain weather conditions. 90% of the time, you can't hear it at all. And I like it that way. It was a factor in my choice.

I'm not so sure that it was Edelbrock's fault by any means... I find it odd that you talk about people bashing Techco but it's okay for you to bash Edelbrock for something that wasn't even their fault!? Right!

Yeah, it's not very loud. It's audible but like a 03 Cobra with a pulley or something.

yeah, no power at all.

I know you experience sucked. I don't envy that at all. I went through a lot of shit myself when I installed mine. Nothing like you faced. I feel for ya on that.

But E-Force's do make power. Plenty of it.
Exactly... and I don't even like the Edelbrock...

look for a good deal. You'll be happy with any of those blowers. I originally wanted a KB but got a great deal on a whipple and am super happy with it.

That's because their support totally and utterly sucked when we tried to figure out what was going on. I they could have they would have blamed my stepmother for making the blower not work!
Techco went as far as flying an engineer to PA to tune the thing.....................(free of charge)
I will never ever buy another Edelbrock thing again (my opinion and I'm entiteled to it)

So you're the one and only guy that Edelbrock decided to stiff? Hmm... How come Shanec had a problem and they were able to get him the parts he needed? Sounds odd but whatever man, have fun with your opinion. Maybe if Techco wouldn't of flown a tuner to you free of charge they would still be in business...

Maybe Techco is not out of business

Yeah Mike, that is spot on. They are no longer in business because they flew an engineer out to tune a car...

We'll see what happens in the next 6 months

Well start with $6400 being the going rate for 450-475rwhp including an intercooler and GT500 fuel pump.

Its not like anybody every runs 10-20% off sales on these. So whatever you find below that is a decent deal.

That's tough...new, used, which one, are you installing yourself, are you running a KB BAP or GT500 pumps, how much power do you want in the future, do you want a centrifugal or a screw or TVS? etc.

Shop around. There are so many good vendors...JDM power, Stage 3 motorsports, Tillman Speed, VMP, and don't overlook local shops that may be KB or Whipple vendors.

I bought my TVS for an obscenely low price on closeout from a car dealer blowing out their parts inventory...they were snapped up in one day.

If I just had to have one and had to have one today, I would price out KB, Whipple, Roush, and Edelbrock and see what offers the best bang for the buck.

If you want silly power in the future (over 650 RWHP), then you need a Kenne Bell Mammoth or a Big Whipple. Otherwise, if staying sub-650 you can run any of the ones I just listed - as well as Saleens and PAxtons and Vortechs.

Also check Ebay - my first blower was a used Eaton M90 Roushcharger. I used it for just shy of a year and sold it for just under what I bought it for when I installed my TVS.

Also, some blowers come with a tune (Kenne Bell) and others do not (Roush TVS) so factor that in...and keep in mind that some of these tuners that do "mail order" tunes do not necessarily know what they are doing on a given blower if you run a custom setup, such as an over-sized snout pulley to drop boost.
