Im curious about et though... the hp numbers of 3v cams make me nervous... Ill find out myself soon enough, as I will be hearing of ya'lls experiences as well.

There are some lost torque stories that are a little nerve racking...

imo and the reading I've done the walls are to thin in the 5.0 strokers. I like to go all out but I also like to be on the safe side if that makes any sense. The 298 stroker would be just right

I don't know if they have the same intentions on these, but I know that in other applications the Thumpr cams are designed with real tight LSA and a lot of overlap, but still soemwhat low duration, to create a race cam sound, without race cam power (and race cam power loss down low). I used to call them ricer cams (since they are made for sound) but after hearing one in an LS1, and then seeing that they still made good power, they are fine in my book.

That said, I wouldn't expect them to loose a lot of low end power, being that they aren't so lopey because of real agressive, high RPM specs, but because they are designed to SOUND lopey.

Post up the specs on the other stages when you get them. I am curious if 111 is the LSA for all the stages.

Had this posted on another thread but is closed

check this out: Found this on Mustangsforums.com

Just got my baby back. She sounds awesome, like the muscle cars of old. I'm attaching the Dyno sheet. I got a perfomance increas of 60 HP to the rear wheels. The blue line is stock cams, the red line in the FRPP Hot Rod cams and the green line is the Thumpr. The video and sound clip will be put on youtube tomorrow by JPC.

I like the looks of the power curve on the Hot Rods better than the Comps. In my opinion too many people get wrapped up in peak power numbers rather than the whole picture. Look at all the torque lost by the Thumper cams. I may be biased since I have the Hot Rod cams but I think mine sound a lot choppier too.
