How dark are the tinted taillight covers?

They are pretty dark. The tailights still shine through though. I never had an issue when I was running them.

I might get them for my wife for Christmas, but don't want it to look stupid with the headlights darker or lighter

I don't have a set that I'd be comfortable selling. I sprayed them and they don't look very good, one side is darker. I bought the ones from American Muscle and they were good.
