Roush Wing Cracked

Like the title says.. My wing has a long crack in it.. Its been like 10 degrees here and some snow falling but I dont think that was enough to crack it IDK.. Im guessing maybe with the cold weather and maybe closing the trunk it cracked. I just know I was brushing the snow off and was like WTF..

Is there anyway to fix it? If pics are needed I can take a pic of it. I still had to get it painted it was my color just old. So either way it has to come off and get painted. Maybe a shop can somehow put it together IDK.. I got the whole wing hella cheap and dont wanna spend $280.00 on another one if I dont have to. Thanks guys

I don't know a whole lot about body work and the pricing and all that- but I would imagine having the crack fixed by a body shop would come close to the price of just buying a new one depending on how big the crack is. How long is long?

just get some bondo or filler, and sand down the crack, fill it with the bondo anssaid it smooth before they paint it

Thats what I was thinking. Lets say its from one end to the other.. So basically its cracked in half.. Hell I can tack some type of glue and get it back together.. Still has to be sanded and all to get painted.. I just cant get how this happened. Im goin to a local body shop to see if it can be fixed during lunch. Just pissed

I would say the weather is the culprit. Any kind of plastic will have a hard time in really cold weather. A little force (like shutting the trunk) was probably what put it over the tensile edge.
I rememeber a year or so ago I left my wash bucket outside over a particularly cold night and was able to break it in half with ease the next day.

Yeah I got it fixed. Took it to the shop and I asked them what they could do with it. Just like what G/F said they did. I dont know if it was bondo but Its put back together and painted the actually color now. Glad to cause I got the wing cheap as hell and didnt wanna pay almost $300.00 for a new one
