Finally getting my mods done!

Finally I have made up my mind and have started the mods onto my sixxer. This friday I am getting my window tint done. I am either getting 20% all around or going to get 5% on the rear and quarter windows and then 20% on the driver and passenger side. I am not sure yet. I am going to order my Flowmaster American Thunders soon, once I find the right site with the best price. The A/T's will go on with a custom H pipe setup. After that, most likely gonna get a billet upper and lower grille. I can't wait to get my first couple of mods done!

Thanks youngin for all the help with the exhaust. I know I'm a pain in the ass about things lol. But I really appreciate you bearing with me haha

no problem . not really a issue. this isnt something you wanna work on twice.. you have to ask all the questions you can . its not like 600$ is a small amount of cash either. all i expect are some vids after

Hey man, congradulations! You're gonna flip after you see it with the window tint- it completely changes the attitude of the car. I got my windows did a couple weeks after I bought the car and I was surprised at how big of a difference it made. I just got my exhaust in last week and I can't seem to accelerate like I used to- I'm always letting it roar a little after a stop sign!

be happy for now. it all goes downhill from here. as you have tints for a while your inside will scratch to hell. and its getting more and more visible .. i was gonna replace just the front buts its to hot to do it right now.

the tints.. will scartch not visible from the outside but cant miss it on the inside.. dont worry it wont happen for a while . im type of guy who opens and closes his windows alot so that prolly didnt help. its only like 50$ to do the fronts so im not worried

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, it was pretty cheap to do it the first time. Shit wears out.

i mean itll still look great outside but some people just cant stand cosmetic damages. and i am one of them althought it is a hassle not being able to open your window for a few weeks,

youngin is right about the tint. mine has dirt specks on the inside

i was gonna get just the window retinted but i think im gonna have the whole car tinted darker

That's what I'm going to do once it starts to fade is go 10%. I went 20 and it looks great but I only went 20 so I didn't have to worry about harassment from the 5-O. Looking around now, though, I realize most of the ricers around here are running limo tint, so the initial 10% I was considering wasn't too big a deal.

limo is actually 5% .. and i always planned on changing cars every 3years or so . so im not to worried about it much. z06 here i come 2010-2011!
