Bought and 09 V6. How long till you start adding mods to it?

i agree the mustang head rests dont look to great.. and yes it was crappy of ford not to put in posi in the 6.

if you have enough change lying around to buy a 1600$ carputer, and you intend to spend a lot more money on teh car as well to get it to GT performance. why didnt you just get a GT? sorry. just curious

Would have preferred a GT but I need a new hvac system for house. So I am getting a 401k loan to take care of that and to balance my money spending on something I would prefer not to, I decided to replace my bad front projector for the house and thought I would upgrade my car stereo with what is left. I like gadgets so I figured I would start with that before performance.

honestly i went the route your planning to go. went with subs first then a navi then a viper remote start. BUT while that is fun you will find exhaust the most fullfilling first mod esp if your not gonna be modding again for a while. there are many ways you can go with this. but that is just IMHO

many reasons.

Gas mileage (even if its 1-2 some people drive to damn much)
insurance (theres a big difference)
price (maybe couldnt afford to keep up with gt payments)

although the mod prices are basically same between a v6 and a gt.
