Procharger questions
Hello,
I am purchasing a procharger for my 2006 V6 mustang. I was just wondering if someone could tell me what injectors I should get? I was told to get 39lb but was also wondering what all injectors will work? Will stock injectors out of an earlier year mustang work if they are 39lb? Will the 39lb injectors be right for my application? The only thing I have done to the car now is a gt take off muffler. After we install the procharger I am taking it to a dyno to get tuned. I will also have an SCT Xcal 2 programmer. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Justin Also maybe someone could point me in the right direction for some used injectors or where to get them for a good price. Also I was told I won't need a different fuel pump. Is this correct? |

I am sure others with more expearience will tell you the best options. Me personally even though I know little about superchargers I wouldn't buy used injectors, if you are spending the money on the S/C spend the money on new injectors. It just isn't worth taking the chance of a bad injector causeing a leaning problem or something like that. Good luck with the purchase and let us know how everything works out.

Thanks for the info. I got the procharger for way below of a new one. Do you know where I can get some injectors for it and will any mustang injectors work? From the v8's too or older years?

Ok so I contacted brenspeed about getting my car on their dyno and getting it tuned for my procharger but they said, "We do not support the Procharger at this time. We have seen too many deficiencies within the design of the kits on both the V8 and V6 cars. We just simply cannot support the tuning on this application."
So since I can't get it tuned by them I don't know what to do. They were within an hour from me too. Theres no way I can just have someone email me a tune for my car right? Don't want it to run lean or not have something right. |

hmm that blows try contacting some of the Mustang clubs in your home state and see if they know of any other tuners near you.
