5r55s in the v6?

I was wondering if the 2005+ Mustang V6's have the 5r55s. I am looking to get a used tranny and have it built. If the v6 has the 5r55s is there anything different than the ones in the GT? Can I use the v6 5r55s build it and then use it in my GT?

Also, I am not interested in the 4R70W, I want 5 gears. Thanks.

Yes, the sixxers have the 5R55S. It is the manual trans that is different than the GTs. The sixxers have the T45, the GTs have the TR3650.

I wouldn't think it would be anything majorly different.

Its wierd. On eBay, the 5r55s in the GT sells for around $900 and the V6 5r55s sells for around $350
