problem at the strip

So I took my stang out for Friday night drags, I do burn out , and start reving at about 3000 rpm's to launch like i usually do, but then when I take my foot of the brake to gun it....Im left there spinning my tires like crazy!

I did have new set of rear Goodyear eagle gt. tires. Also I notice that after my runs , When I went to turn around it sounded like the strip was wet. So you think its the tires or maybe something wrong with the trip?

did you look at the track afterwards to see if it was in fact wet?
do you have rearend or have you gotten tlok or the like?
did you go through the water pit?

It looked shiny and yea I went through the water. I also noticed that they had a new dude watering it, it seemed like he kept watering every 5 min.

What do you have done to the rear end? If you don't have a tlok you're not going to get any great times.

2nd: you don't have drag radials so you don't need to drive through the water box, and you just need a quick burnout to get the debris off your tires, nothing john force...

the way they have it set up at speedworld makes it almost impossible not to go though the water. what is a tlok?
