JBA Shorty header noise

Hey guys,
I recently put some JBA Shortys on the V6 just to hopefully get a little more power just to push me above 300 rwhp and a little deeper sound. And yes, I did my research and the choice between long tubes and shortys was a sound issue. Long tubes sounded very ricey to me, despite their gains.

Anyhow, it was a pain in the @$$ putting these headers on but I finally got everything on and torqued down. Started it up and revved it a couple times and it sounds good. I drove it around some and I notice a tinny noise appearing when I gas it at low rpm.

I've checked to make sure all the bolts are in and torqued, no gaps, and nothing is rattling against the heat shield. The collector is tight and I cant feel any gas escaping.

Ive heard the noise depends a lot on the setup of your exhaust system (running dual GT takeoffs with H-pipe) but I cant explain where the tinny noise is coming from.

Anyone else with JBA shortys had this issue or know how to resolve it?

Thanks

What else has been done to the motor? I assume F/I with 300 rwhp...
turbo or supercharger?

I've got a procharger stage 2 kit on it running 8psi.

This tink tink tink noise makes my car sound like I've got a clunker and thats really aggrivating.

Far as I can tell no performance has been lost in it just the noise gets louder as rpm climbs.

The reason longtubes sound ricey is because people get their cats taken off when they do long tubes. They figure, "well I just spent 600 dollars on headers that take 5 hours to put on. Do I want the best performance out of this bitch? Yeah."
Another good suggestion is when you get the money, it would be wise to put 2.5" tubing all the way back to your mufflers. You would see more of a performance gain.
