Sputtering?! YIKES

I have a 2005 v6 Automatic Mustang and I just had something happen twice over the past few days that has me worried to say the least.
On Saturday morning, I took the car out of the garage after a long night of rest. I started it not problems I put it in reverse and backed out of the drive. I then put it in Drive and gave it a litle Gas, and it started to sputter and shimmy. It did this for about 20 yards and it went away. I then thought that maybe it was my rear end spinning on the wet pavement.
I drove it Sunday and all seemed fine, as well this AM I had no problems. then this evening while leaving work after sitting all day, it did it again. The engine doesn't appear to be running rough. It almost feels like the transmission is not grabbing the gear, or the rear end is not flowing freely.

Now I'm also wondering if it's possible that new wires and coil can cause this effect?
2 weeks ago, I put on a ScreminDemon Coil and Live Wires. I did not change the plugs YET, but if that seems to be helpful, I'll do that tomorrow for sure.

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

Chip

id go ahead and change the plugs, it may just be the computer trying to relearn the bigger spark as well. If it is only doing it intermittently it could just be a loose plug wire, check to make sure they are all on there good and tight

Green,

Thanks for the advise. I ran out last night and purchased some Bosche Plat +4's and spent the AM putting them on.
I did an initial test drive and all seemed better.

I'll keep checking it out, and report back if it flairs up in the coming weeks.

Ummm ok not to sound like a N00b, but ummm How do you know when they have fouled out? Ummm I know when you do that in baseball lol lol ok bad joke..

Anyhow any tips on what it means when said to be fouled out? as well as signs that is happening? Are these the kind of plugs that should be checked and replaced if needed yearly?

Thanks

fouled out just means they have gone bad. youll get a misfire code more than likely or the car will have some hesitation on acceleration. just every 3 months or so pull a few and make sure they look ok.
