If you had the money, between which of these two would you consider? And if you have an alternative, (other than "blw up 6er and bye v8 kekeke") what is it?

Yes that other junk....The x-charger is very limited and doesn't make as much power as a vortech

the x-charger makes better power throughout the rpms, but is limited because of no intercooler, ect, ect. It really is crap. The vortech, procharger, paxton ect would be alot better choices. If it was up to me I was get a procharger. Preferably a D1. The only problem with these type of superchargers is it has a turbo like effect and you dont get power at lower RPMS, but that could be good for gas mileage if you just want to cruise. These superchargers come with intercoolers and the works so you can push alot of boost out of them. More than you would probably want or use with a stock bottom end, rear, tranny, and clutch lol.

I always find it interesting that the internet "supercharger experts" rarely own a supercharger.
The non intercooled Vortech makes the same numbers as the non-intercooled X. The X intercooler is shipping next month and the test mule is making better numbers than the comparable Vortech. I'll take the boost/torque curves on a roots style blower over a centri in a heartbeat. I do agree, if your a power junkie, you can't beat a turbo. |

Huh? They're releasing an intercooled version of the X? When did this happen? Last I heard it wasn't feasible without first having a cowl hood.

I would do a Innercooled "X" charger any day over a Vortech.

roots style FTW, if you want a centri get a turbo and blow the s/c out of the water. Roots (or twin screw cant remember what the X is) makes better torque and IMHO looks a lot better. and im sure you can put an intercooler kit on it youd just have to play with some piping
