T-5 to TR3650 swap

why would you do that?

because the t-5 slips very easily on f/i v6's. it's just not meant to handle the added power.

If you're gonna swap transmissions why not go with a T56? It'd handle anything we could throw at it, plus you get 6 speeds!

I'd love to have 6 gears, let alone 5 I can actually change myself

nothing but a twin turbo setup on the stock v6 block could break a tr3650.. so why spend twice the money on a t56. i'm looking for somebody that wants to swap their t-5 for a tr3650 so i can buy their t-5 from them. i've got a clutch, flywheel, and shifter sitting at home doing nothing waiting to do the swap.
