Be careful driving that fast with tires not rated for that speed..

Base V6 tires are H rated to 130mph and Pony Package tires are W rated to 168mph. No worries there HMUSN.
![]() Fox, yours sounds lke the release bearing, when the clutch pedal is depressed noise is gone but when pedal is released noise is present. Correct?

change your fuel filter and run a bottle of berrymans valve and injector cleaner through it. if that takes care of it, i would give your pony a complete tune up. wires, plugs, maybe even coils.

I don't think that would have anything to do with it. But hey, if your paying for it, go for it!!

most people would be suprised at what noises you hear if you don't keep up with routine maint. plus he said that he is fairly hard on it, there for it may help. and you are looking at about $15.00 so it won't break the bank.

Mine does the same thing after I drive for a while and it gets hot. Ford considers it "normal". First time I've ever heard of a noisey release bearing being normal.

the fuel filter is a simple replacement.you should be able to do it yourself. so yes, the filter and fuel treatment will only cost you about $15.00. now for those who are not able to do it yourself, it will cost more.
