Engine mods, need help

HI, im new to the site so here are my mods: (2005 v6 5speed)
1) magnaflow catback duals, x pipe
2) 8.8 rear with t-lock and 3.73
3) Short throw shifter
4) and am getting a procharger soon.

My question is about the setup from super six motor sports (the cylinder heads, cam, and rods)

What do you guys think about it??? IM not very noligable in aspect of car mods. Do you think it will help my engine life since i am putting on a procharger, and will it give the power it says (50rwhp, 80rwtq) ???

P.S Would that camshaft work with a stock engine???

shit its a long list...umm where to start..when i ran it i tuned it to 10psi

1) vortech s/c intercooled
2) shorty headers
3)straight pipes
4)dual catback flowmaster exhaust
5) internal motor rebuild the whole 9 yards
6)70mm throttle body
7)stage 2 clutch
8) aluminum drive shaft
9)backseat deletion kit (less weight) also i got rid of alot of stuff like the tire and jack and all that sht to weight alot less lol
10)diablo tuned
11)bigger fuel injectors
12)50 shot of nitrous
and thats all i can think of for now..theres alot of things i did to it..but u got to remember that you can mod any car in different ways to get the same or more or less hp... i went through a rear end cuz i didnt change to a 8.8" yet so i broke the shit out of it..so when i get back im gonna get a new rear end and my time will go down also look into a smaller pully and that will help too..i dont have that yet..but basic bolt ons will be good with a s/c

if your looking at doing internals i hope you can do the work yourself because thats going to kill you on labor. The ford racing guys told me our stock internals are rated pretty high for a 6er like 400 HP if you do it right. There is no real big need to upgrade unless you want more power

Ya thats what the guys a ford racing say never really sure how much they really know thought or if there just there to work the counter. He was trying to tell me that the reason is the way the rods are set up and that the blocks a different strength compared to the gts they take less abuse per horse power or something like that. I wasnt really fallowing what he was saying but he claims they have worked on some that are around 400 with turbos and NOS and working great so could be bs

Depends on the engine, but SSM has experienced engine parts breaking at 350hp (I don't know if it is rwhp) at ~8-9psi.

Blackbandit, SSM is no longer making that stage 3 hci kit. The manufacturer they had making the cams went under and they no longer have the designs for cams. They are however still selling the stage 2+ package.

you would fine if you stayed around that range it should not cause any problems at all. I know two people that are blown putting out about that much hp and have been going for 2+ years and have no problems at all. Its just not worth the amount of money it would take to redo the internals unless you do your own work then i might consider doing it.

^agree...but note that if you do it yourself its a reallll pain in the ass and a bitch to do all of that thats why it costs alot to get it done through a shop

I guess ill keep the engine stock. I here that running a supercharger at aroung 8 psi is safe for a stock engine.

Thanks for all your help
