Shop refused to install duals

I called a local muffler shop asking how much they would charge to install this kit: Mustang_V6_Exhaust_Conversion_KIT | New Take Off They told me that because of the way Ford designed the v6 exhaust, it would not fit correctly, and if they did it I wouldn't like it and would want a refund. Basically they refused to do it for any price. I haven't heard this anywhere else, what is this all about? They told me I should buy a single Flowmaster axleback, which I dont really want.

Find another shop that doesn't employ idiots. I've heard of shops refusing to do things like remove cats or install o/r midpipes but I've never heard of a shop refusing to install a dual exhaust kit because they think it will sound bad.

^^^^^^^ i agree with that most kits are bolt on no welding or anything really hard as long as you know basic stuff you can do it easy.

Kind of the same thing happened to me in a way. They told me I wouldn't like it and that divorced duals wouldn't work on my car, I needed a crossover. I insisted that I will like it and it will work. Showed up with the parts 2 days later and the guy said "Your not going to like this but ok" he installed everything started her up, revved it up quick and came out of my car with a surprised look on his face and said "Wow that sounds nice"

Go somewhere else, if they argue with you tell them you have done your research and stuff like that. They will do it.
