Which would you make your first mod?

I'm looking to surprise my wife with a new mod on her car when I get back from my deployment. She has a 2006 V6 and and I have 08 GT. Im thinking of getting her the Pypes True Dual Exhaust or a JLT CAI & Tuner combo off AM. She's jealous of my straight pipes lol. She has acouple small paint chips on the very front of her hood. Another options im thinking is getting her hood painted. What do you think? I'm thinking hood cus those two thumbnail size white chips drive her crazy.

How about a new hood all together?

AmericanMuscle Mustang 3in Cowl Hood - Unpainted (05-09) at AmericanMuscle.com 94009 - Free Shipping!

Cervini's Mustang Ram Air Hood - Unpainted (05-09) 1171 - Free Shipping!

Adds some muscle to that V6

Split the difference? Get the paint chips fixed, and get her a custom-made cat-back on her single exhaust with a little larger pipe, open muffler, and a nice rolled tip.

We do have a local muffler shop, but I'd hate to have them make an exhaust for it and then not like the sound of it.

I did the Pypes kit, but I didn't like the drone it had at cruising RPMs (2000), so I swapped the mufflers for the Flowmaster kit. I love the sound they make.

Also if you do decide to get a new hood, check out Cervinis for sure. they cost more, but the fit and finish is great. I put one of their hoods on my 2010.

I would definitely go with the tuner and CAI. It really releases the v6's hidden power that FORD didn't want you to know about, ha. I have done several cosmetic as well as performance mods, and this is definitely the best.

I ordered her a tuner and it came in the mail today. I'll order her a CAI when I get home so I can install it for her. When I ordered it I filled out the little survey thing for how I want my tunes. Does it come in the mail the way I want or does she still have to wait for the tunes to be emailed to her?

With my trinity tuner it came with Diablosport's tunes on it. I had to load a tune and then email my original backup file to BAMA and wait for them to send me custom tunes.

am will send the tuner with the tunes on it but you should ask them to email them also so you can save them in a safe spot. then if you ever get different tunes, you`ll still have them to go back to swap tunes on the tuner
