my dads dyno run!!


went up to dasilva racing to get my dads car tuned. diogo lopes did a great job and was very knowledgeable. the new shop is big and full of ponys lol its more of a stable.

my dads running C&L intake,ngk plugs,frpp x pipe,magnaflow dual catback, frpp 373 gears and t locker.


made 202rwhp and 221 rwtq. woulda made more torque if it was 5speed.

not too bad for a little sixxer! next on the list is an x charger

fog on the drive down. hwy 401 9:30am 22 degrees celcious.


had alot of fun,and loved the new shop. definatly reccomend dasilva racing/mustang toy store to anyone in the toronto/ontario/ny area.

Im assuming this car also has a tune? or no tune. Those are pretty good numbers.

lol yea that was it. it had an sct can 94 tune on it before, dynod with that and a tunable induction intake and put down 188. swapped out the intake for the c&l and tuned a bit and made around 194 or so. then tuned some more and came out with 202.

so now its a custom tune on the sct,all the others were erased.

Your Dad's car is lookin' good. The #'s sound right in line with a custom tune and the mods he has.

Yea I figured. Canned tunes suck. He could pick up a little more hp with a new driveshaft.. the stock one weighs 40lbs I believe and it breaks past 117mph.
An aluminum driveshaft probably won't pick up anymore hp on the dyno, but it will free up rotational weight and increase ET's at the track by .1-.2 tenths as well as a smoother acceleration and feel.
Stock 4.0 driveshaft = 28lbs, aftermarket 4" alum. driveshaft = 14lbs
2005 4.0's are prone to shred above 113mph as they don't have the C clips in place. Ford rectified this problem in early 2006 models by adding the C clip. However the aftermarket alum. driveshaft is an excellent mod to have and one I would have high up on the priority list.

People have also broken them with the C clips. So it is just a good idea to replace it.

Great numbers, car looks sweet! what front spoiler is that? Is it on a v6 or Gt front facia? looks like the 6er

its a 3d carbon one for the sixxer,fitted right under the grill for no spaces.
