Done - the problem was voltage related. I installed the BBK today and all is well. Thankfully I had the diablo tuner to clear the trouble codes. If anyone out there needs help with this install let me know. BTW - the BBk does in fact increase hp BUT ONLY AT MID TO HIGH RPM

BBK 70mm TB finally fixed

Got it running yesterday. It turned out to be a voltage problem. All I had to do was adjust the idle screw and it runs like a charm now. The reason for the fried ecu was a loose wire at the TP sensor. When I removed it originally it broke but I did not know that. That was what caused the ecu to be fried.
I may have just learned an important lesson here.
I am going to put it on the dyno this week to see what the actual gains are.
Thanks to everyone for the replies.

Finally reinstalled the BBK TB and all went well this time except I had to adjust the voltage to get it run correctly. I am glad I have the diablo tuner so I was able to clear the trouble codes. Will put it on dyno first opportunity to see if there are any gains in HP.

Well, I put the car on the dyno and it showed some increase in Hp but, that was probably due to tempature ratrher than the larger TB. Bottom line is that you will not see significant increase using this as a stand alone mod. You will see an increase when used in conjuction with a supercharger.
So, I guess I better install a SC.
