Installing them is not to bad but getting the cam timing correct is extremely critical. You will need the ford timing tool to get them close however even a couple degrees off can kill the performance. To get it right you will need a degree wheel. There is no "lined up the dots or keyway to get it right. You will also need another special valve spring compressor tool to get the cam followers in and out. If you spend all that money on heads opt for better valve springs as well. If you turbo in the future you will be glad you did. I have not swapped my heads out but know of several who have and getting the timing correct is the bitch.

Okay
1. you should probably get cams installed with the heads 2. Price for installation may vary my quote was 1050$ 3. Ask around local forums or go to the Review section 4. You should probably look into buying a 8.8 real soon Are you gonna get the forged block anytime soon?

My opinion is you can make all the power the stock tranny can take using the stock heads with a turbo. You can make the power at lower boost with better flowing heads and cam. The heads wont give you more boost but will give you more power at the same boost. What turbo are you running? Nevermind I remember it is the sts set up. Bump the boost up to 12-13 and get a safe tune and you will be happy. As long as your fuel system can support it and your tune is safe you can run 15psi and make over 400rwhp. I did it for a month and a lot of races but my injectors were maxed out so I dropped the boost to 13 to be safe untill I get some 60's.

wait your running that much boost im only running 7 psi, how much can the tranny handle, with a good tune im assuming a dyno obviously i can safely run that much boost

they are called forged pistons not forged piston heads. you wont gain much by adding a larger TB. you will gain a few hp with the UDP.that aluminum DS would be questionable on a 400hp car since they do break.a chromoly is better for durability .if your car is automatic you could get a higher stall converter.a set of drag radials and a set of rear lower control arms like steedas with an adjustable upper control arm would work great.
