Question on Flowmaster

Ok, I have a 2005 v6 mustang. I am going to put dual exhaust on my car and I'm thinking about going with flowmaster. I have heard a lot of good things about the A/T(American Thunder) Click here for a link

My question is, can I put the American Thunder Classic System on my car?
Click here for a link to the Classic System
And will it sound good on my car? It says it is suppose to be louer and I want that. I would want the Classic system over the regular one but I can't figure out if it will work and soung good on my car. Any help at all would be great.

mustangexhaust.com you can hear most every exhaust on the market for mustangs.IMO
flows are annoying due to the drone all their mufflers have and the fact that so many people have em and they dont even flow that well either.you have so many other better and unique choices.you have Pypes,Mac,SLP,Borla,Corsa,to name a few.

American Thunder's are the way to go. the drone is actually false i have Flowmaster A/T's with custom H pipe and JBA header's and i get no drone. the only other ones i recommend is the borla stingers or some magnaflow ones. but the american thunders alot of people are happy with it . including me

yes. I have had my american thunders for about 2 or 3 months now and i love them. They sound great and they aren't as expensive as stingers either. I would recomend them

I've come to the conclusion that Flowmaster changed there design on the A/T mufflers. I hear everyone talk about the drone. But, it seems everyone who has bought them recently (including myself) doesn't have a drone. But, Flowmasters are not too loud (louder than stock but not loud compared to others).

not sure if it is because you have a v8 but my car is pretty loud at speed and cold start. at idle it is quiet.

Yeah, they are louder than the stock mufflers but they are quiet compared to other mufflers out there. At least from what I've heard.

yes it is. yyou just need to get your rear bumper cut to match the right side of the bumper where your current muffler is.

i'm finally getting my exhaust installed in 3 weeks after much delay. I went with Mac muffs. They sound sexy..i was looking at them on youtube and ran into this guy who lives in van who just got Mac muffs installed on his 07 sixer. Went and saw em in person and they're quite loud, very muscly. And i'm just going to get my bumper cut for now. I'm going to look into getting the 3d Carbon kit though for the v6. i really like the front air dam and the rear skirt as well
