spec 2+ or 3+ ???
Which should I go with and why? I will be drag racing mostly at the track with my setup. I have heard the Spec 2+ is awesome. Any experience with these clutches?
I will be buying them next week along with an aluminum flywheel. |

I've read all the debates about clutches..... I'm trying the Roush P51. The big brown truck dropped it off today.
I haven't heard anything bad about it so far. I know it hasn't been out very long so I'll be one of the guinea pigs I guess. Oh yeah...settle down Mickey!!!

cool man. I'm still waiting to join the 11sec club. I'll have another shot at it after the clutch and flywheel are in.

Because I have talked to many many people with aftermarket clutches and there have been at least 4 or 5 ten+ page debates on mustang forums about different clutches debating who has what and what they have to say about them...every thread ended up with people wanting mcleod or switching from their specs to mcleod...mcleod makes racing clutches and they are damn good at it.
I have had zero chatter on my clutch and it needs very little break in miles...its all up to you man, but in the long wrong you will be happy if you go McLeod

if you're set on a spec the reason you want the stage 3+ is because these cars are so heavy the stage 2+ won't handle the weight. many of peoples problems with clutches are because they don't have the patients to break them in properly.
