Spline question

How many splines does an 05 gt come with, axle wise 28 or 31 . I have nver opened the rear up but some people say 28 some say 31. Thanks

cool thanks someone told me that there where some that came with 28, like a mid year thing for the 05 just wanted to make sure.

It's the ridged inner end of the axle shaft which interfaces with the carrier in the center of the axle tubes.

Yes, we took both cars to the Kennedale track at the beginning of September. Best part was both cars outran a new Challenger SRT8. Next time we go I think we'll go up to Denton and see what that one's like. I'd like to get to a 1/4 mile track but Ennis is just far enough away to be a real pain to get to, I'm waiting and watching for that new strip on the east side of dallas to open. The next trip should be fun because I recently built the Mach1 axle with 31 splines and 4.10s. Then I was on a roll so I put 3.73s in the 07. Just need to get some drag radials and then see how quick we can run.

i went to kennedale for the dfwstangs fall cruise. I normally go to denton though. I'm actually going tomorrow

. 305/40/18 dr's FTW! When crandle opens i will deffinatly get some 1/4 mile times. Maybe we'll meet up sometime.
