Has anyone installed them? Do you need to pull the starter, and if so is that a big deal? Ive never pulled a starter before....any input? Thanks!

People will say you do not, but I just installed them and it makes things much, much easier. Removing it is easy as hell, three bolts

make sure you disconnect the battery lol, or it might get a little "hot" underneath the car.

After i got my mac lt headers installed, i get some sort of strange vibration in my steering wheel when i take right hand curves, but not left. I think it might be hitting the steering mechanism. I had the shop take a look on a lift, but that was with the suspension unloaded...on the ground it might be a different story though. Its driving me nuts!

I havent for fear of how much extra vibration i might have in the car after installing them. If thats the agreed upon fix, then i guess i'll have to bite the bullet and get some.

Seriously man... vibration BARELY increased on my car after install. If anything, I think it feels better and less sloppy now. I love them!

I have them as well....right after you install them you can notice it, but after the 2nd or 3rd time driving you wont even remember that you have them...under normal driving conditions of course

the keep the motor from rocking back and forth as much, and by doing that the power is transferred to the wheels instead of getting lost in the engine movement....basically.

DOnt disconnect the steering column, that is completely unnessisary and a pain in the butt! You have an option on the starter ( havent tried this personally, but have heard numerous sucess stories ). You can remove the starter ( which is not difficult and is the way I did my Mac headers ) or you can remove the engine mount ( which I heard is also very painless and works just as efficiently ). You will need to jack the motor up a touch to get it done either way though, so I hope you have jack stands, jack, block of wood ( to put between the motor and the jack stand ), lots of extensions and a swivel. Other than that its pretty easy and striaght forward. This is a very time consuming tasks though ( especially if you havent done it before ), I can get a set done in roughly 6 hours ( with a few sets done under my belt ). Just gather some paitence and miller lite and yu will be in good shape.

done kooks, arh's and macs several times over and never pulled the steering shaft nor the starter. As fast said raise the motor and pull the mount on the passenger side, it's easier to get at since it's in line of site.
