QUICK LIGHT QUESTION. Help!

I got my new Xenon H-13 headlight bulbs today. They are the 12V 5000K 60/55 Watt Output.
They arent any brighter than my stock bulbs..
So he asked me "If you want brighter, do you want to get the 100/90W H13?"

Would that melt my shit?? (shit = wires / lens)

Thanks for the bump.

I have heard of people melting the lens on the headlights. I just don't know if it was with HIDs or bulbs like this.

I only have 7400 miles on my car & don't want to screw up my car.

Just curious what's up with all the recent treads about lighting problems? Just posted in another tread about HID's. I know a lot of people have problems melting headlight housings that are aftermarket, simply because they made from cheap plastic. All your HID and aftermarket bulbs will burn at the same temp, if not lower. With that said, if you manage to burn the housing or wiring, it's not exactly the bulb, but the ballast or whatever power booster for the bulbs is wired wrong or has a short.
