boy racer kit

i have a 06 v8 mustang gt and am just wondering what people think about the 3d carbon "boy racer" body kit and if you have any pictures of the kit on car that would be very helpful thanks

yea i like it to but the only problem is the hood is $850 does anyone have any other hood ideas that are cheaper or should i keep it stock?

i like it stock better. ud be surprised how much a small hood scoop well ruin ur vision. but the stock hood just makes the car look so much clean. if it were me and since i got an 05+ i just wanna buy the front bumper

if u got a new 05+ i would get the whole 11 piece. u dont need the hood, and i would just get the spoiler and front bumper and maybe the side skirt. but its up 2 u

if you get the bumpers you have to get the fender flares too..

dude get a shaker hood system, that thing would be bad ass

I like the kit myself.I might just go with the hood and rear window piece.
Yea,the hood is a few dollars,but i bet it shaves about 65 pounds of the cars weight.Don't forget the paint too.Those imports that run around with colored cars,and carbon fiber hoods look like shit..Ruins the flow of the car,even on a honda...
Combine that weight savings with an aluminum driveshaft,front tubular chassis,no spare or jack etc...you could shave a few hundred pounds off the car..That will make the car quiker...power to weight ratio blah blah..Shit,when i pulled my spare and jack,it had to weigh at least 75lbs..Now i just use a z06 repair kit from my last car,compressor and plugs etc (about 10lbs),thats if the cell phone doesn't work for some reason..

it's about the going rate for a c/f hood for a car this size..one could always take it off and sell if trading in the car..

I'd reccomend either getting the boy racer hood or the Saleen hood. Both hoods like very nice in my opinion
