haywood custom speed

Hi everyone. I have heard nothing but good things about randy and his team at Haywood Custom Speed in NC....and plan to take my car there for some upgrades next month. Any of you with first hand experience with them know what I can expect to pay for installation of gears, longtubes and midpipe? Thanks in advance!!

quote from a guy on corral

///////Hell i'll bring my car to you to fix. I paid 500 bucks and i'm pissed. The guys who built the car said they fixed it then I picked it up...drove it 2 miles to the gas station...started hanging at 2 grand...cut off twice in the gas station parking lot....then wouldn't start without me pumping the gas...I just said #### it and drove it home an hour and parked in my storage unit. If you can help I will personally bring it to you to fix.

Tuned by Randy Haywood Custom Speed...whatever chips he uses. Everything is new except for the block and rods. I have 15 grand in the car and it doesn't run. I was told by the guys who built the WHOLE CAR a chip would fix the problems of the 94/95 idle. //////////////

Hes relocated from Raliegh to Benson address , changed website name and all ..... and changed shop name to big wood racing or something like that , I have heard of some guys that swear by him but alot more that he charged alot of money and only cause more problems than he fixed

that quote is from a guy near Raliegh that had Piedmont Custom Motorsports build a complete car for him and then they took it to Randy to tune and he I am assuming only tuned for WOT , not any driveability and part throttle and the car stalls, bucks , just isnt driveable ...

and its not even that complicated of a setup at all and he charged the guy 500 bucks for a car that wont stay running ....

the guy is bringing me the car all the way into VA to get me to retune it so it will run and not cut off at every stoplight

fastlane is the best around Raliegh but they charge the highest and have longer wait times

I had Piedmont Custom Motorsports install my gears and Tokico D-specs and they do great work! They are also fairly cheap. the only problem is that they do not have a dyno, so they can not tune your car. If you only need an install though, I would hit them up with an email for a price quote.
