4.10s!

seems like everyone around here is doing gear installs lately. i recently purchased 4.10s from a vendor on here. i was quoted on an install price for about 330$..thought it sounded like a good number. cant wait to get them in

That's a good fair price. Some on here have paid more, some less.

That's a decent price, provided it includes everything, down to the oil and the friction modifier.

With all the horror stories I hear about bad installs, I felt safer having Ford do it, yeah it cost alittle more $550, but any problems I know they will take care of it.

Just had a quote of $240 to set up a rear end.

im pretty close with my tuner, he became a friend before he became my tuner, im pretty sure he would take care of all problems

i ordered the gears..i talked to my tuner he said i need the installation kit as well..im looking around..what is the difference between the installation kit and the bearing kit? on american muscle

ya i got quoted $600 by a 'reputable' (in other words theres no where else to go so they get everybodys business) speed shop, they said i would have to provide install kit and oil.....i walked out the door. and then i drove away.
