Question about Rear Gear 3.73 or 4.10 ?

Hi everybody,

I have a Mustang GT 4.6L with SCT and CAI.

What do you advice me to put ? 3.73 or 4.10 rear ratio ? What are the maximum speeds of each gear with these ratio at 7800tr/min ?

Stock what is the ratio in fact ?

Thank you !

Greetings from Paris, France.

if you plan a supercharger in the future go with 3:73's
if not stick with 4:10's.

i have been over 150mhp with my 4:10's no problem

and have someone do it. don't try it yourself.

the 05+ autos actually have 3.31 gears stock.

honestly... I have seen some guys run a 4.30 gear in the 05+ autos and be happier than a pig in shit... it pulls hard through all the gears and goes through the traps at a good RPM and you can still top out the car at over 145 mph. sounds like a winner to me.
