alright so im taking delivery on some Tokico D-specs and some steeda Sport springs tomorrow. Give me the truth.. can i install em?
I have enough experience but is it worth my time?
its like $350 otherwise so im hopeing you all say its not too bad of a job.
my father used to race cars so ive got the tools

Good choice. It's the exact same set-up that I've got. It's an easy job, too. Just figure a couple of hours from start to finish.

do it yourself. basic hand tools in your garage along with a spring compressor you can borrow from your local parts store. after you do it the first time if you ever help a friend the second time will be done real fast.

you don't need a spring compressor. should take about 30 minutes a wheel for your first time.

i have d specs, however on a soft setting they are too soft. On harder settings they are too hard. I found it impossible to find that middle ground comfort setting with them. IMO the stock shocks and struts are smoother and ride better. They are great, but I don't road race so they weren't worth it to me

edit: I've been in a car with bilsteins and they felt much better to me. A lot smoother without loss of handeling

I love them. I've got them adjusted just a tad firmer than in the middle and find it rides perfect for my tastes.
