Kooks LT's Header Install HELP

Guys,

I'm in the middle of installing the Kooks LT's. Got the midpipe off . . . got the starter off . . . got the motor mount on the passenger side off . . . got the passenger side stock header off . . .

I'm about to start installing the Kooks LT's when I notice that both headers have a hole to screw in the 02 sensors . . . along with both new high flow Kooks Cat's have a hole to screw in O2 sensors. That makes (4) O2 sensor holes?

The stang only had (3) O2 sensors that I pulled off. Two in the stocker cats . . . and one just above the stock cat on the passenger side. There is no fourth that I can see? What am I supposed to do with the extra O2 hole? Is there some sort of plug that is supposed to go in here?

A little help please . . . anyone. I need to get this done by the end of the day tomorrow.

Thanks.

Don't panic bro, there is another O2 that is in the drivers side stock manifold. When you get to it you'll see it. It's just above the ball flange and it's hard to see.

Go take a look and see if it's there. I just went and looked at mine to confirm and that's where it's at.

No problem bro, if I was able to use long tubes with the turbo I probably wouldn't have remembered where the stock ones were either.lol

Make sure to reuse the stock gaskets as Kooks will even tell you to do this. Also a little added insurance to where you won't have to do this again is to use High Temp gasket sealer. Other than that it is a pretty simple install provided that you have a lift.

The stock gaskets are deffinatley good gaskets and it is good to reuse them. I used the kooks gaskets and on two installs locally that got them from me the kooks gaskets were used. No issues. I dont know that kooks would tell you to use the stock gaskets, just that that stock gaskets are as good as any on the market.

I had an issue with the Kooks ones and old man Kooks told me on the phone to use the stock ones as they are of a better metal that Kooks cannot get.

Yea. Well the stock are two peices, becuase matching a stainless still header to an aluminum block and all that. But yea that makes sense. But for guys that used the kooks gasket it is a quality gasket. But the stock gasket is infinatley reusable. Its always a good way to go. So are the stock bolts imo.
