looking for Bassani Street mufflers
I've got Bassani LT's & a Bassani midpipe on my car. I want to try Bassai Street muff's to complete the trifecta.
I know Bassani Race is like liquid sex. But I don't do drone. Had Stingers once. Knew within 5 minutes that I'd be getting rid of them. Anyway I have GTAs right now. Looking for a good deal on some Bassain Streets - preferably used. This muffler shuffle thing can be expensive!

yea it can... any straight thru muffler design is optimal. i.e maggie's, borla, CORSA, or Bassani...

I've heard Corsa on a GT500 and it sounded like complete ASS.........of course it was a heads, cams, etc etc kind of GT500, maybe that had something to do with it.

corsa's are better for x pipes. I have heard them on a car with o/r h sounded like shit.
Bassani race or street are good for x. I wasnt aware that the bassani race had bad drone. I can get the bassani or the corsa. I might even have access to some used bassani's but i doubt it. Those guys dont switch often, but there is a guy getting rid of parts right now cuase he car is getting poped. Let me see what axle backs he had. I do agree though spend some money the first time and do it right. Also take into consideration your entire exhuast setup. People on here always talk about planning ahead with gears, well as you can see, redoing exhuast stuff can cost you a pretty penny as well. |

My Stingers were about to vibrate the eyeballs out of my skull. I understand Bassani Race is pretty close to a Stinger. They do have a very similar sound.
That's one reason I want to try Bassani's Streets. It keeps some of the sound, but should be more tame. I hope its a good compromise between the GTA's I have now and the Stingers I used to have. Borla makes a more tame exhast too, but I'm partial to Bassani after having put on Bassani LT's and a Bassani catted X.
