Just to give you a example of where im coming from. Its like you have vibrations and noise, and you search for it taking every suspension part on a off your car, greasing things, you take your driveshaft off, you clock your driveshaft, you rebuild your rear and through all that the noise comes and it goes and you change it a little bit, improve it here and there.
Than the big deal that gets made of whether a K member is streetable or race a arms with rod ends are streetable, even bmr says while they are streetable they are really meant for race applications. I was really worried about the a arms. I only put them on my car becuase a customer ordered them and then didnt want them and i just figured in two years i never saw one guy on this forum buy race a arms so i might as well put them on my car. I noticed no negative affects from those a arm or the k member. But it seems guys, including me, give little thought to tires except for how do they hook (and none of them do but DR's) and tires can really make a night and day difference in handling and ride. Its where everything starts really, i wont say its the most important, but its as important as anything. So yea, would i spend a few hundred extra to have good tires. Yea i would. The nittos were just rough. Some of what i blamed on my mods were really the nitto. Its also a tire that is sensitive to pressure changes. I play with that a lot and i noticed that. Its very sensitive to changes. So thats a good thing as long as your willing to play with it, dial it in to what you like, and then check it regularly and keep it there. Change it as conditions change.
The difference with the f1s is that playing with the pressure. I have went from 40psi down to 35psi and i really dont notice any difference in ride quality or handling, so again depending on how you look at that, its a positive or a negative. |

Did you figure out why they were rubbing up front BTW? I know you were having a issue.
