Need advice on purhcasing a supercharger....

Looking to tap into some experience and expertise... I have decided to move forward and install a supercharger..... My research is leaning me to the Kenne Bell Twin Screw Supercharger (8 PSI Intercooled); however, they have yet to develop the tune for the 07 model. They are expected to do so over the next month or so.....

Can I get some success stories for the '07 model? Anyone direct me to the best deal for purchase??

If you want a really good, very streetable blower w/ great power increase. i would go with a Saleen Blower. If you have a ford tech install it, you don't lose your factory warrenty and you can get an easy 420 rwhp.

They give great torque, moderate boost levels (8-14psi) great driveability. it's the perfect street/strip blower.

I like both... you'll get more overall horsepower w/ a cent. blower... but I think for street applications the roots style blowers are hands down better. you can just get in a drive. TORQUE MONSTERS TOO

I Love my Ford Racing / Whipple Supercharger!!

Great power, great torque, reputable Ford tune, complete system with GT 500 fuel pump, spark plugs, everything needed for the job and I could not be happier!

After speaking with a reliable dyno shop, the real answer is a centrifical(Vortech) and screw type (KB) will essentially net the same area under the horsewpower and torque curves. The screw type will come on earlier and peak sooner and the centrifical will come on later but climb steeper up the curve giving more power on the top end.
It's a matter on preference on your part.
The best bet is to make a decision on what you want to get out of the car.
I'm going for a Whipple and a complete tune session with my dyno shop to maximize the set up.
Good luck on your choice!

STS Twin Turbos if the stock block can hack it - otherwise single turbo.

Also, I believe the roots generate more heat which can be overcome with an intercooler, and I think it's the Saleen that will need special motor mounts to lower the engine if you want it to clear a stock hood.A nice cowl hood will solve this problem as well.

All blowers will make noise, but it's a noise to behold!!
