Wet Nitrous Kit system-Tune Question.
I'm about to throw on my Nitrous Kit system, hopefully tomorrow. 50 shot. Also have other jets for bigger, but I want to know if I'm safe with a 50 shot and no tune? As it stands now, I've got a intake+tune on the car, as well as cat back exhaust. I plan on getting the car dyno tuned once I install my cam, and headers, but I want to know if I'm safe to use just this small shot of nitrous till then(just want to have a little fun in the car till then)
Also, anyone know where I could find a good price on a dual purge system? |

50 shot with no tune is fine.

Yup.
Once you do the cam/headers/tune you can go ahead and jump it up to a 100-150 shot.

you should be fine from what I've heard. you could always pull just 1 degree of timing just to be safe. Make sure you run the highest octane fuel you can get around there. It is 93 here. Later man,

for a dual purge system that is spectacular
buy the one that DynoTune - DynoTune-Nitrous systems, Purge kits, Nitrous Bottle heaters and more! sells. I run it on my car. It comes with a t-fitting and two lines that have plenty of length to run it where you need it, plus it is a pretty nice sized purge. |

Be sure to pull ALL your plugs after spraying the 50 shot...ALL of them to check for detonation...and if the car falls down on you at all while spraying...stop!! I dont recomend spraying any amount with no yune but im paranoid of detonation. Good luck man.

Thanks a lot guys, I had already read pretty much everything said in this thread, but I just had to ask the question myself, ya know? People I specifically wanted to comment on my question popped up in this thread luckily since they have a good deal of experience with nitrous, so it really puts me at ease for now.
Again, thanks a lot. |
