Looking to be a future Owner

I want a 07 GT real bad, I test drove a few already and I love how they run and ride. My problem is that my Co-signer and I don't have good enough credit right now so I have to wait a while and maybe save up some cash for down payment plus my trade in so that the bank will approve of the loan.

gotta say as much as i would never want a civic over my mustang if you don't have good enough credit to get it on your own i wouldn't buy it. is your SI paid for or even close to? if it is you would be crazy to give up a paid for car to get another car payment. also have you called your insurance to see how much of a difference that is going to be. i'd look at all the variables to see if it's really something that is realistic.

Saving up for a down payment is a really smart financial move.

If something happens and you might need the immediate equity the down payment will provide.

Yeah I still owe 15,000 on my Civic, so I still have car payments now. Its 400 a month. my insurance is 160.00 a month for Full coverage right now.

if you list the civic as your daily driver you might see an insurance cut, i have a 98 civic on the policy and was testing out quotes and if i take my civic off the quote goes up lol...

You pay 400 a month on your civic and 160 insurance. I pay 425 on my 07 gt and 200 in insurance with 0 deductible. hmm... make the smart choice and buy the stang
