VCT or charge motion plates?

After I first did my tune and pulleys, I noticed that my car will slightly hesitate to accelerate till 3000 rpm then after that, it really opens up. I really feel it if its cold out. So with that being said, my guess is that it is induction. But is it the variable cam timing in action, or the stock charge motion plates restricting the air? Any one else felt this in theirs?

I had the same when I had the delete plates and 20" wheels and tires installed. I don't know which one or if both caused it. Kinda feels like turbo lag.

I've heard of the charge motion plates causing that........after I had my car tuned with all the other stuff I have done, I dont really experience it anymore. I still have the factory charge motions in my car too. Nitrous helps a little too

You need to datalog it to find out why. An incorrect maf curve can jack up the fueling and cause similar issues. The DBW settings can also need some adjustments.
