Clutch Ready to Rock and Roll

After I put the car in the shop a couple of weeks ago from a kid backing into it, I finally got it out and had a chance to put some miles on it since the last trip to the track ended with the clutch slipping while spraying.

I ran it today to check it out with the nitrous and wow.

I was like this.............................................. ............^

So in conclusion, the clutch needed some more break in miles so it had time to seat correctly. Track times should be posted in a couple of weeks hopefully quite a bit faster. It sure felt good today.

Sounds great bro! I got on mine the other night and it did fine on low boost, but on high boost it chattered at the top of 4'th gear. It should be broken in by the meet though...hopefully.

haha it was a blast. Roush, I've got about 1200 or so miles on this clutch. Get to it!

Im breaking in a clutch for the meet as well, I have only a little over 100mi on mine thus far... It'll be good to go next weekend

08blackchrome, it is going to be Friday, March 13'th. I posted it in the regional section. I'm going to post it here about 2 weeks prior to the meet. I know alot of people don't leave this section, but I didn't want to post early and it get moved as some people might forget about it. Here's a link...

Ill be there getting the new clutch installed next week hopefully I can have her ready by then. Im also going to get my new plugs and have her tuned for the 125 just got to see if the tuner will be able to do it. I guess it will depend on how quickly I get the clutch broke in.
